Instructions For Replacing The Fabric In The Sling Style Chair

1. Remove the plastic end plugs in the top and bottom of the seat rails.
2. Cut the fabric in half starting at the top center.
3. Remove the fabric and dowel from the seat rails.
4. Remove the bolts that fasten the seat/back to the chair leg assembly. At this time the back bar will fall free from the chair. Save the back bar, bolts and spacers to reassemble.
5. Place a few drops of liquid soap on the end of the dowel on the new cover and slip it back into the grooves in each seat rail. Replace the end plugs.
6. Reassemble the seat rails to the leg assembly using the bolts and spacers saved.
7. To insert the back bar turn the chair upside down on a smooth, non-marring surface. Next, place a piece of paper on the top of each seat rail for protection against marring. Standing on the top of each seat rail insert one end of the back bar into the slot. While firmly holding up on the center of the bar push the opposite end downward and insert into the other slot. Press firmly on the center of the bar with the palm of your hand. This will position the back bar into its proper location.
